Recently, I read this tip in an article and gave it a try. Truly I was so impressed because it worked great! It reminds me of the old air popped popcorn without the air popper (which if you are like me, you got rid of years ago). To make this do it yourself popcorn, all you need is a paper sack, popcorn and any seasoning you wish.
Microwave Popcorn
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup unpopped popcorn
- 1 paper lunch sack
- Seasonings of your choice
Instructions

Pour popcorn into the paper sack.

Fold paper sack over twice about half inch each time and place in microwave.

Microwave about 2 minutes just until you no longer hear it popping. My microwave takes about 1 minute and 45 seconds. Microwaves can vary, so watch it closely until you know what your microwave requires.
Season any way you like!
Try a variety of seasonings…melted butter, butter seasoning or get really creative with all kinds of spices…cajun, fajita or BBQ seasonings, salt, cayenne….the possibilities are endless!
